Announcements: Extension of due diligence period and subsequent deadlines [11 January 2008] The HCP and the TRA jointly announce the extension of the Tender Process timetable for the following reasons: • to accommodate ongoing due diligence requests from Applicants; and • to take into consideration the delay in holding presidential elections. The HCP and the TRA extend the period during which Applicants have access to the virtual data room, can submit questions and propose comments on the drafts of the Mobile License and the Sale and Purchase Agreement. The HCP and the TRA will continue to post answers and add documents to the virtual data room. Revised drafts of the Mobile License, Sale and Purchase Agreement and other Acquisition Documents will be made available after the extended Q&A process is completed. This extension is expected to defer the Application deadline and the Auction date by approximately eight weeks, respectively. The HCP and the TRA will jointly make further announcements regarding the timeline as appropriate but no less than four weeks prior to the new Application deadline. Applicants should monitor the Lebanon Mobile Auction website. Capitalized terms used in this announcement but not otherwise defined have the meanings given to them in the Request for Applications. |
